Very large oval and round tablecloths
We can make 80" round cloths, 90" round or oval tablecloths and over.
We have several techniques to make very large round tablecloths even if you choose a standard width fabric. However, we do have some very wide material that are ideal to make wide tablecloths.
The cloth on the left is a large rectoval tablecloth made in Tarascon linen/cotton/polyester fabric. It's a very wide woven fabric, fully reversible. The tone on tone woven patterns are highly decorative whithout being overpowering. Photo kindly supplied by Di (Perth)

Above:
Extra large acrylic coated 108" round tablecloth
The above custom-made tablecloth now "lives" at Dianne and Gordon's (Arizona).
This cloth is made of two different complementary fabrics, one of them being a square pattern, the other one an-all over fabric.

Elisa yellow 90" round coated tablecloth
To make this cloth we used a 180 cm / 70" square panel of Elisa provencal fabric with circular design. We added a border of Elisa yellow coated fabric to create a 230 cm / 90" square panel. The panel was then shaped round to make a large round tablecloth.
We can use the same technique to make round tablecloths 90" in diameter and above.

90in round tablecloth (230 cm round tablecloth) in Patricia stripes design. These cloths were made by joining two lengths of a 60in wide fabric. We created a built-in runne to define the centre of the cloths by joining two similar stripes side by side. Set up by Margee for a Provencal wedding, USA.
The same technique can be used to make large round cloths out of any striped fabric.

This extra large round tablecloth was made for Lillian and Mike (Las Vegas).
It is made of two different fabrics using the built-in runner technique.
The Provencal fabric for the main part of the cloth has an all-over design (Esther beige) and the fabric for the runner has a striped design (Julie beige).
These materials are 150 cm / 59" wide. By using the built-in runner technique, we were able to make this 240 cm / 88" large round tablecloth which looks beautiful and sophisticated.
We can make tablecloths of any size using the built-in runner technique.

The toile de Jouy fabrics are 280 cm wide (110" wide). They are particularly well suited for large round tablecloths, square or rectangular.

We obtained the required width for this cloth by joining two pieces of Bastide Lavande fabric, using the border pattern to create a built-in runner.

14 seater , 68" wide and 145" long oilcloth in Ellen's veranda (Connecticut)
Ellen liked the Magali beige 60" wide all-over fabric for her cloth but needed a 68" wide tablecloth. To obtained the required width, we added an Helene green border to the cloth. The combination of these two fabrics makes a unique sophisticated tablecloth which suits Ellen's wide table perfectly.
This tablecloth is a good example of the "added border" technique which not only allow us to make very wide tablecloths in any fabric but also enhance the cloth.

This is done by sewing a strip of the border pattern accross the short sides of the cloth. The border "frames" the table.

90" round tablecloth (230 cm round tablecloth)
We joined two pieces of Auriol pique fabric to make this large round tablecloths. A runner covers the join on the reverse of the cloth (red side) so that the cloth can be used on both sides.
